2017 Black Hills “Ipso Facto” wine This single-vineyard Syrah shows potentialThe 2017 Ipso Facto is a rare library release of the last vintage of this style, from the pre Ross Wise era. This wine is entering its prime now, becoming very expressive and superbly well rounded. The nose opens up with aromas of bright raspberry, red cherry and black currant followed quickly by a subtle breeze of violet and fresh herbs. The palate offers notes of ripe cherry, plum, black tea, cocoa and a fair amount of white pepper on the finish.
